Lynn Eisenhart

Lynn Chang Eisenhart is part of the SIF leadership team, with a focus on fintech and women’s economic empowerment. She previously worked as the lead strategic advisor to Gates Foundation Co-Chair, Melinda Gates. Lynn also spent 7 years on the Financial Services for the Poor team at the Foundation, working to provide unbanked individuals with digital financial services in Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan. Lynn serves as the Foundation’s observer to the boards of bKash, a Bangladesh-based fintech platform serving over 40 million Bangladeshis; and OneLoad — a digital payments and financial services platform for micro-retailers in Pakistan.
Prior to joining the Gates Foundation, Lynn built a fintech joint venture in her corporate strategy role at T-Mobile, designed innovative consumer banking and payments products as a retail banking VP at Washington Mutual (now JP Morgan Chase), and led technology management initiatives for clients while at Accenture. Lynn received her BS degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and her MBA from Yale University.
Born in Houston, Texas to first-generation immigrants, Lynn is currently based in Seattle, WA with her husband and two children.
