Two-thirds of the U.S. workforce does not have a college degree while most jobs require some postsecondary education. Only 60% of Black and Latino high school graduates transition into a postsecondary program, compared with 70% of their white peers. The likelihood of accessing and completing that education depends on a person’s race or income. It shouldn’t, and we are working to change that.
Our goal is to give everyone in the United States a chance to flourish, no matter their background. We focus on digital innovations that improve teaching and learning from early childhood through postsecondary progress. We also support business and tech innovations that dismantle barriers to economic mobility and opportunities, especially for women and people of Black and/or Latino backgrounds.
