Jessica Burback

Jessica joined the Gates Foundation in July 2025 as Senior Coordinator providing operational support to the Strategic Investment team.

Prior to joining the Gates Foundation, Jessica built a career spanning more than 20 years in operations, human resources, executive support, and business administration within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and investment sectors. She spent over two decades with Accelerator Corporation, where she served in senior operational leadership roles supporting venture creation, portfolio company development, investor relations, and executive operations. During her tenure, she worked closely with leadership teams and helped establish and scale multiple early-stage life sciences companies.

Before joining Accelerator, Jessica worked at Prolinx, Inc., a venture-backed biotechnology company focused on technologies supporting drug discovery. There, she managed a broad range of operational and marketing functions supporting the company’s growth and commercialization efforts.

Jessica received a Master of Business Administration from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Washington.
