Ryan Kreitzer joined the Strategic Investment Fund in 2014. Based in Seattle, Ryan invests across fintech, healthtech, agritech & climate, focusing on innovative companies that develop new solutions to long-standing challenges that impact patients, farmers and consumers globally. He also leads SIF’s investing practice in Sub-Saharan Africa, where he invests in businesses that deliver innovations to those that need them most. He currently serves as the Gates Foundation’s board observer on a number of companies, including Pula Advisors and Enko.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Ryan worked in investment banking at Evercore. There, he advised on mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, and strategic transactions involving clients across a variety of industries.

Ryan graduated from New York University’s Stern School of Business with a B.S. in Finance and Economics.
