Kristin provides operational support to the Strategic Investment Team. She received a B.S. in hospitality and tourism management from Virginia Tech University focusing on event management. Starting as a contractor for the Gates Foundation five years ago, Kristin joined full-time soon after and has been with the SIF team for three years. Kristin focuses on processing Programmatic Related Investments for the SIF team and the Accelerator team, shepherding new investments from start to finish. She works closely with internal and external partners to ensure all compliance standards are met and that new partners are introduced to foundation practices.
